The City of Stockbridge Made a special day for Ms. Hambrick

The Stockbridge City Council created the 2nd Saturday of May of each year is Carrie Mae Hambrick Day as created by the Council in January 2009.  She will be long remembered by future generations as a woman of substance who raised a family and worked hard in a family restaurant known as the “Green Front Café.”  Stockbridge is indeed indebted to her legacy as a woman who brought about changes in her community with her loving ways and by being just herself.
